Public speaking and lectures

Illustrated lectures

Clive Tully is an experienced public speaker. In the early days, it was slide shows for Womens' Institutes and outdoor clubs. These days, it's after-dinner speaking and quality lectures - as ever, using his own stunning photography.

Clive has been described as having an "excellent broadcast voice" which comes across well in his public speaking engagements.

He does of course have the benefit of broadcast experience, coupled with the confidence of a musician who has played live in front of several thousand people.

Past speaking engagements include:

Guest lecturer on Voyages of Discovery, August 2005 (with Sir Bernard Ingham)

Guest speaker at Wigtown Spring Book Festival, April 2005 (with BBC Radio 4 Today Programme presenter James Naughtie)

Celebrity speaker at 2004 Daily Telegraph Destinations Show, Earl’s Court and NEC, Birmingham

Celebrity speaker at 2003 Daily Telegraph Destinations Show, Earl’s Court

Guest of Honour / after-dinner speaker at Royal Southern Yacht Club 2003 annual motor boat dinner (with Alan Priddy)

Celebrity speaker at 1999 Independent Travellers' World, G-Mex, Manchester
